Unfortunately, the letter you have written may get you denied for the loan modification. The key to getting your modification approved is to show that you can afford your home if the payment was reduced. In other words, you will have to show income after household expenses are paid.
You may need to eliminate cable tv, home phone and just use a cell phone, internet service, etc. You may have to make adjustments to the amount paid on credit cards, as well.
